Comfort and elegance. Relaxation and fitness. Gourmet and healthful. At the Copperhood Retreat you'll find the perfect balance of all these elements.

Result driven programs for accelerated weight loss, detoxing, juice fasting, Pancha Karma, stress reduction and raw food lifestyle are run by a highly skilled and supportive team with 28 years of clinical experience.
Participants develop habits of exercise, diet and relaxation for life.

Fifteen rooms and suites with balconies afford magnificent views of Garfield Mountain and the Esopus River. Accommodations are luxurious. Facilities, grounds and equipment offer complete and very professional support for all of our wellness programs. Guests enjoy a variety of indoor classes, lap swimming in the 60 ft. indoor pool, and a full gym. Bring hiking boots with you. Though there's no shortage of indoor activities, the Copperhood's philosophy is inspired by the great outdoors. Hiking, biking, snow shoeing and skiing. Relaxing in the sun, or wading in the creek. Fishing, tennis, bird watching or even spotting deer while dining on the outdoor deck overlooking the Esopus Creek in the heart of thousands of acres of Catskill state park wilderness preserve.

Elegant meals are served fireside during the winter, and riverside during the summer. The classic spa menu is flavorful and nutritious, beautiful and light. Our juices and homegrown wheatgrass are extracted just minutes before being served in elegant stemware to celebrate your health. Our raw, plant based, food program features wild or naturally grown foods. The dishes are a sight to behold, and delicious as well. Our raw foods include young greens, sprouted nuts, seeds and grains, cultured preparations and dehydrated foods.
All the organic produce is grown on the premises or by an affiliated organic farmer in the area.
