Chicken Thighs w/Barley, Garlic & Chardonnay
The Oaks at Ojai
Put it all in the crock pot in the morning and it’s ready to eat for dinner! 

2 Servings, 378 Calories Per Serving

Ingredients:
1/2 pound chicken thighs without skin, boned 
4 cloves garlic, sliced thin 
1/2 cup barley, rinsed and drained 
1 can fat-free chicken broth 
1 1/2 cups chardonnay 
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves, snipped

Preparation: 
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on Low for at least 6 hours (3 1/2 hours on High) 
Serve in bowls and top with chopped green onions.

SERVING IDEAS: The Spinach Walnut Salad is good with this.

NOTE: Don’t miss this really easy and good dinner! These servings are very generous. We actually served four with this amount so if your appetite is small, freeze some. You can use any good white wine with this or substitute orange juice.
