6 Servings/71 Calories per Serving

12 Ounces Fresh Strawberries
2 t Sucanat
Juice of ½ Lemon
½ t Pure Almond Extract
1 Cup Nonfat Plain Yogurt
1 Cup Apple Juice, Unsweetened
Strawberries, Chopped for Garnish

1. Puree the strawberries in a blender or food processor.
2. Add the sucanat, lemon juice and almond extract, and then the yogurt and apple juice. Blend until very smooth.
3. Chill for at least 3 hours. Serve cold in small dessert dishes, garnished with chopped strawberries.

OPTIONAL: Cranberry juice may be used as an alternative to apple.
