BIRDWING TURKEY BURGERS
Summer is for GRILLIN' at
Birdwing Spa

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lite soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco
  • Pepper to taste
  • 6 whole wheat buns
  • 6 lettuce leaves
  • 6 tomato slices
  • 6 onion rings, if desired
  1. Combine turkey and next 9 ingredients.
  2. Shape into six patties.
  3. Broil burgers until done, about 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Serve on whole-wheat buns with lettuce, tomato and an onion ring.
